This restaurant is very inconspicuous because it is easy to miss it as you drive past. Inside there is a calm and nice atmosphere. The food convinced us. We haven't eaten so delicious for a long time. If you want to eat very good food in Flensburg, you should definitely go to Shalimar! Many thanks

Very authentic Indian restaurant. What the rather simple interior design lacks in comfort, make up for it by the excellent Indian dishes. The dishes, which are offered in different degrees of spiciness, are served in hot bowls, with clean rice and accompanied by Indian pop music. You should definitely order the chabati and naan bread with mango chutney and of course an ice-cold mango lassi.

From the outside very inconspicuous, but definitely worth a visit :) you shouldn't be fooled by it. The food was really delicious. Great starter and the main course too. The portions are also more than enough. Here you will definitely be full. The price also fits. When we are in Flensburg again, we will definitely eat here again.

Wanted to order something spontaneously and felt like Indian. In this context we came across the Shalimar. The food came much faster than advertised. In addition, the prices and portions are great! We'd love to eat with you again!

As a indian this place was disappointing, would give it a minus 100 if possible..ordered a naan got one so called naan we get from rewe..the rice was a day old dry and hard..all in all was a poor experience..the waiters claimed they are from pakistan..were unfriendly and unpleasant..bill was 30 euros for 2 ppl..though we cudn eat what they gave..the mango lassi was bland..go at your own risk..

Love the place. Cozy little place to dineout. Very friendly staff especially the owner Malik Rafique sb. Taste was yummy. We ordered Chicken Tikka and chicken Qorma with Naan and chapati. Both were delicuois dishes. Tikka came up with good portion of rice and gravy which was good for both me and my wife. And taste was very good of both dishes. Highly recommended for authentic Pakistani and Indian food.

This is by all means the best restaurant in Flensburg. Is that a brave statement? Probably yes, but I did some research in this area. I have visited more than 20 restaurants in Flensburg, and there is nothing better than Shalimar Restaurant. I m happy to have the place where I can go to eat, not just one of many places where I have eaten.

From Birmingham England, if you want top notch Indian come here.. at first I thought "what's this?" because the Naan was oven baked ..(something I have never seen) Then I tucked into a jalfrezi with Naan. The best I've had in Germany beat most places in Birmingham too! Eat here it's excellent!
